INTRODUCTION

Dr. Omar Ali is a dedicated Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with years of experience in providing high-quality, compassionate care. Dr. Ali graduated in 2000 with an MBBS from Guy’s, St Thomas’, and King’s School of Medicine and Dentistry. He went on to earn a PhD in Medicine from Imperial College London in 2007, where his research focused on pulmonary hypertension, a complex heart and lung condition. Dr. Ali has been recognized as a specialist in cardiology since 2013 by the GMC, reflecting his extensive training and expertise.

Dr. Ali is committed to providing the most effective treatments, always staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiology. His approach combines the latest, evidence-based medical techniques with a focus on caring for the whole person, ensuring both the best outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Dr. Ali works at St George’s University Hospital in London, where he collaborates with other experts to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care. He is also involved in research, particularly focused on preventing hospital readmissions after coronary angioplasty (stent placement).
